How can I stand for love and not gay marriage?
I once thought

tonight i was seduced by the rain
as images melting passed by
an interest caught my eye
two lovers caught kissing in the rain

its funny i never thought i would be envious of a kiss
what was interesting about this
was that it occurred between two
i'd call miss
one of the most passionate kisses i have seen in a while

then thoughts of love arose
love between two females and vice versa
hetero and not wondering how the latter is sin
God i trust in your love but sincerely i am stuck wondering

but this trust carries burdens of faith
faith to bestow a companion
and yet how can this faith in you cause such a divide

when those of the latter are offended at the pursuit for love
and my faith in your love becomes hate for their love
why doesn't your love expressions abound
while their love is around

i believe in love
I believe in their love
I believe in Your love

Yet all the more in the changing power of Your love
